The STAR Centre offers free and confidential support to anyone aged 13+ (women, girls, men, boys and those who identify as transgender or non-binary), of any ethnicity who has experienced any type of sexual violence at any time in their lives.
Support services
We offer specialist therapeutic and emotional support and psychosocial education to survivors of any type of sexual violence in a safe, non-judgemental space.
Thinking about reporting?
We provide confidential, emotional and practical support to anyone who has reported, or is considering reporting an experience of sexual violence, to the police.
Make a referral
You can refer yourself or somebody else for support following any type of sexual violence.
Our training
We offer quality training for professionals including teachers, social workers, support workers and youth workers on all areas of sexual violence.
Prevention work
We facilitate the National Sexual Violence Prevention Programme with young people ages 11 -25 in secondary schools, youth groups, and colleges across Ayrshire.
Support leaflets
Support and information leaflets are available to read in your own time.
