Young people can encounter sexual violence in various aspects of their lives, including within their relationships, peer groups at school, and online interactions. Studies conducted in secondary schools have revealed that young people experience numerous different forms of sexual violence just has sexual insults, harassment, unwanted touching and image-based abuse.

Today marks the start of #StalkingAwarenessWeek ! @actionagainststalkingaas and @live_life_safe will be doing a lot of work to raise awareness of stalking, focusing on how healthcare professionals can spot the signs that someone is being stalked and get them the help they need. The STAR Centre supports anyone that has experienced sexual violence, and can point you in the right direction for further support if you are being stalked.
