Resources for Friends and Family
Information for Friends and Family
Here we have brought together the resources we have available for friends, family, caregivers and romantic/sexual partners. Supporting someone after they have experienced sexual violence can feel daunting. You might be worried that you'll say the wrong thing, or hurt the person you are about. Being able to empathise and understand what a survivor is going through after an experience of sexual violence is so important. The below resources, alongside our ones for survivors are a helpful starting point to understanding sexual violence, trauma and ways you can support someone you care about.
