Sexual harassment in the workplace
Did you know that The Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 is a UK law that that comes into effect on October 26, 2024. The Act will:
- Require employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace
- Shift the focus to prevention: Encourage employers to take a proactive approach to preventing sexual harassment
- Increase penalties for employers: Increase the potential penalties for employers who fail to meet their duty

- Understand action that can be taken to reduce sexual harassment in the workplace including looking at a bystander approach
